As you might have heard, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting some MAJOR work done right now.
The Polynesian is set to remain closed through the summer of 2021 for refurbishments in most areas of the resort, including a Moana-themed makeover to the guest rooms. As a part of this work, the monorail station at the resort is now closed.
Last month, it was announced that the Polynesian Monorail Station would be closing in early November and that day is now here.
At this time, bus service is available between the Polynesian and the Magic Kingdom and the walkway to the Transportation and Ticket Center remains open for those who want to ride the monorail.
The Polynesian Village Resort Monorail Station may be closed for the rest of the year.
Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates on construction and a reopening for this spot!

Hmmm, you say that it will be closed through 2021? I have a vacation club reservation in January there. Is it going to get cancelled?
DFB Sarah says
Randi, the DVC section of the Resort will be open.
