We’ve been talking a LOT about Christmas lately, but we can’t forget about Thanksgiving! After all, we are EATERS around here.
Turkey Gobbler Sandwich
Christmas might have some yummy snacks and meals, but the food is the CENTERPIECE of a good Thanksgiving. Luckily, we found a pretty awesome tribute to Turkey Day in Disney World today — and it’s in SANDWICH form.
We’re heading over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground today to try out the Turkey Gobbler Sandwich, a limited-edition offering this month to celebrate Thanksgiving!

This BIG sammie is made with house-smoked turkey breast on a super-soft Tuscan roll. Add cornbread stuffing, gravy, and orange-cranberry sauce and you’ve got yourself a Thanksgiving eat! The meal comes with french fries too!

And yes, this is a BIG sandwich. This is an easily shareable portion or a hefty meal for one. The turkey was our favorite part because it was super juicy — kind of like the turkey from Trail’s End when it’s open!

The sandwich was super warm with a touch of sweetness from the sauce. That was balanced with a little bit of salty flavor from the gravy, though! There was a LOT going on here but it all worked together really well!

IMO, the only con to this sandwich is how messy it is! We had a LOT of stuffing on ours (maybe a little too much!) but if you’re a stuffing fan, it’s a dream. We def recommend this meal to anyone who’s a big fan of traditional Thanksgiving dinner!

Can we use a service like DoorDash to pickup food like this from resorts that we aren’t staying at and are hard to fit in the time to get to?
