All four Walt Disney World theme parks have reopened, as have many of the Resort hotels, but some things like the water parks and certain restaurants and hotels remain closed.
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf — one of the mini golf courses in Disney World — had not yet reopened but that all changed today!
Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf Course, another mini golf spot in Disney World, had been open since July, but Winter Summerland had remained closed. Now, that has reversed. Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf are now closed and won’t reopen until January 31st, 2021. In the meantime, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will be open from now until January 30th, 2021.
So, we made our way over to Winter Summerland today to see what things are like!
After parking, we walked toward the entrance where we saw signs directing us to a temperature screening.
The process was similar to what we’ve seen in the parks, with a professional taking your temperature through a touchless thermometer.
Also, face masks must be worn by all guests (ages two and up) at all times except when actively eating or drinking while stationary and physically distanced.
Here’s a look at the operating hours for Winter Summerland, which is 10AM to 10AM every day…
…as well as the prices. Guests ages 10 and up can play for $14, while guests ages 3-9 can try to score a hole in one for $12.
We passed some adorable winter/summer themed benches, and saw some social distancing markers and signs throughout.
There were more social distancing markers and arrows directing us toward the main building to purchase our tickets.
This spot is always rocking that Christmas in July look, so it was very appropriate that we got to visit it today — the day that the holiday season officially began in Disney World.
There were a few holiday themed and other items in the small gift shop including the snoap machine and some cute plushes.
There were also some snacks here so you could grab a bite to eat…
…and enjoy it on the picnic tables nearby. We spotted a number of hand sanitizer stations throughout so you can continuously clean your hands while you’re here.
Staying hydrated is super important in Florida so if you want to grab a soda, water, or some other cold snacks, we also saw that those were available.
We also noticed that some plexiglass has been added to the register here as part of the health and safety regulations.
Once you pay for your round(s) of golf, you receive this little pamphlet to help you keep track of your game!
You can play the Summer Course…
…or the Winter Course. Or, you can pay for more than one round and play both!
We made our way onto the course and were greeted by one of the GREATEST sights in all of Disney World — SNOAP! Oh how we have missed thee, snoap!
The entire Winter Summerland course and all of its buildings are fantastically themed! Santa’s reindeer have been replaced by flamingos, and are those golf clubs in the sleigh instead of presents? Looks like Santa’s taking a bit of a vacation before things get too busy!
The courses here are family-friendly and are sure to keep you and your family and friends entertained!
Once you’re done, you can return your golf clubs in the designated area.
So, if you’re looking for something unique to do during your next Disney vacation, consider popping over to Winter Summerland for a bit of fun! Come decked out in your holiday ears and spirit jerseys and you’ll fit right in with all the decor!

What’s the best way for resort guests to get there since the Blizzard Beach bus isn’t running?
Terri says
How do you get to Winter Summerland Mini Golf via Disney Transportation? Do they have busses going there?
DFB Sarah says
Terri, when the Blizzard Beach bus is running, that’s the best option. Otherwise, some folks report being able to use Coronado Springs buses to get to the minigolf, but you’d want to contact the Resort to check on that. Minnie Van (when they’re running) or RideShare might be the most efficient method, but it wouldn’t be free.

Never played the Summer/Winter course…. looks interesting but… at what price. I played the Fantasy course, it was nice but expensive compared to other courses off property.
