We’ve been busy today enjoying the start of the holidays at Disney World!
We’ve eaten a lot of holiday snacks, had a lot of holiday drinks, and watched a lot of holiday cavalcades! But as most Disney World guests know, the holidays REALLY shine at the parks at night! As many of you know, the holidays are a little different this year, but today Disney shared some exciting news! They shared that a version of Sunset Seasons Greetings would return with the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel.
Tonight, like we’ve seen in years past, the Tower of Terror came to life with stunning holiday projections.
There aren’t as many projections as we’re used to seeing, but we still get to see it as a fun gingerbread house! Another projection looks like a winter wonderland.
Don’t you just love the colors of this season? They just give us so much joy! We do want to note that usually there is a magical moment during Sunset Seasons Greeting when it will begin to “snow.” Tonight, however, that was not the case and there was no snoap to be found. On top of that, there was NO music. Just the projections. So while it’s exciting to have at least that, it is a very different experience.
We’ll keep reporting from the parks and let you know what other holiday goodies we find!

Erik+Larsen says
if there ever was an opportunity for Disney to create a Haunted Mansion Holiday themed attraction for WDW, then it would be the “Holiday Tower Hotel!” Re-theme the entire inside and out – new voice over, new decorations, the works! Heck, the Twilight Zone even had that Christmas episode where Art Carney becomes Santa Claus. 😀 Disney, if you’re listening, all I want is two annual passes! 😀
