The Simba Pretzel made a triumphant return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in August, after having been unavailable for a few weeks upon the park’s initial reopening. But then…
… at the end of October, we noticed the snack had vanished from its two usual spots in the park: Harambe Fruit Market and Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks. Today, however, brings happy news that the Simba Pretzel has returned (to one of his two usual locations, in any case)!
We spotted Simba once again at Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks while we were grabbing the Snowman Ornament Stein this morning!
The Simba Pretzel’s shape, as you may recall, is inspired by Rafiki’s cave drawing in The Lion King.
It is still served with cheese sauce for dipping for $6.79.
Now, over at Harambe Fruit Market, the Simba Pretzel was unavailable. But our ol’ pal, the Mickey Pretzel, was up for grabs. (We still love you, too, Mickey!!)
Whether Simba will need to take some more time off every now and then to do some “brushing up on lookin’ down, and working on his ROAR!!” remains to be seen, so we’ll continue to keep an eye out for him on our upcoming trips to Animal Kingdom!
