We’ve been keeping an eye on all the news related to Disneyland Resort.
Although Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park will be reopening soon, it appears the theme parks themselves are not expected to fully reopen for quite some time.
During today’s earnings call, Disney noted that it currently “Disneyland will remain closed at least through the end of the fiscal first quarter” for fiscal year 2021.
Disney’s 2020 fiscal year ended on October 3rd, 2020, meaning its 2021 fiscal year began after that and the first quarter would then likely end toward the beginning of January 2021. Currently, all reservations at Disneyland Resort hotels have been canceled through the end of the year, but the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort are expected to reopen soon.
We’ll continue to keep you updated as we learn more.

AJ,
I told you that this was going to happen.

I had tickets for Disneyland and they were supposed to expire the end of 2020 and got extended through 2021. Do you know if they will be extended into 2022 if Disneyland doesn’t open?
DFB Sarah says
Robin, we’ll have to wait and see what they do if that’s the case.
