Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Christmas and holiday decor pop up all around Walt Disney World!

It started in the parks and recently began spreading to the resorts, with decorations going up yesterday at Bay Lake Tower and Wilderness Lodge. Today, the fanciest of the Disney resorts has gotten its holiday makeover! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa now has their over-the-top decor, but they’re missing something BIG this year!
Upon arriving at the resort, we could tell we were in for a treat when we saw the elegant garland lining the walkway to the lobby entrance! It really just puts us in the holiday mood!

Everything is so detailed — ornaments, bows, and foliage in every nook and cranny.

Our first glimpse of the lobby really had that “Wow!” factor! This whole hotel just exudes holiday cheer.

We, of course, had to get a closer glimpse at the MASSIVE Christmas tree in the middle of the lobby. Guests were already gathering around to take photos with it.

Even the ornaments on the tree match the “grand” vibe of this hotel!

This antique-looking ornament with the dolls particularly caught our eye.

You don’t realize how tall that tree really is until you stand right underneath it! Good luck getting the whole thing in your family photo!

As we headed upstairs to get a better look, we noticed that the signature staircase had been lined with festive garland as well.

We also spotted these swan wreaths donning the walls — we love how unique they are!

When looking at the lobby from above, we began to realize just how much we miss the giant gingerbread house display that usually arrives here for Christmastime! It won’t be here this year, but we’re hoping for it to return in 2021.

Even without the gingerbread house, this lobby really looks magnificent! We love the way that Disney goes all-out for the holidays!

Valerie, Disney say you must have a Resort reservation or an Advance Dining Reservation to enter a Resort. However, those using Disney transportation seem to be able to come and go to Resorts.
