Over the past few days, we’ve started to see more and more Christmas decorations pop up in the Disney World Resorts.
From Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to Disney Springs, it’s DEFINITELY beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Disney World. And today, we stopped by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to check out the stunning holiday decorations around the Resort!
We’ve been on the lookout for holiday decorations to arrive at Animal Kingdom Lodge recently, so we stopped by again today to check for any new developments. As we rolled up to the entrance of the Jambo House building, we noticed a promising sign!
And when we walked into the Jambo House lobby, we weren’t disappointed — the gigantic, gorgeous Christmas tree is now up at Animal Kingdom Lodge!
As impressive as the tree is from a distance, we had to take a closer look to really admire the details!
We love how each of the huge Christmas trees around the Disney World Resorts is themed to match the location.
The tree in the Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby is decorated with gorgeous artwork, like this giraffe mask! We definitely suggest taking your time to soak up all of the incredible details.
There are other smaller trees located throughout the lobby as well.
Check out this pretty tree outside of the Zawadi Marketplace gift shop!
In addition to the various trees throughout the lobby, there is also festive garland hanging from the railings that face the lobby.
Let’s get one last look at that breathtaking tree in the Jambo House lobby before we head over to Kidani Village!
Based on the decorations near the entrance to the Kidani Village building, we had a feeling this area of the Resort received a holiday makeover as well.
And we were correct! Kidani Village, the Disney Vacation Club section of Animal Kingdom Lodge, has a large tree of its own!
While not quite as towering as the tree in the main lobby over in Jambo House, there are still some awesome themed ornaments and decorations on this tree.
We spy Mickey!
These ribbon ornaments are supposed to imitate palm frond flowers!
Some festive additions have also popped up outside of Johari Treasures, the gift shop at Kidani Village.
As beautiful as Animal Kingdom Lodge is year-round, it gets an extra touch of magic when all of the holiday decorations are up!
While each Disney World Resort has holiday decorations themed to fit their style, Animal Kingdom Lodge has to be one of our favorites of the bunch. If you have the chance to visit the Resort this season, be sure to take plenty of time to enjoy all of the incredible details!

Uniquely Disney for sure, but the upper floors in the main building look to similar to the Wilderness Lodge. Not enough Imagineering here to make it unique. Maybe monkeys ziplining back and forth across the great room would add some excitement. Needs something…
