Lately, we’ve seen many previously closed locations in Disney World start to reopen!
Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion and Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion of EPCOT have both now opened up full time. We visited Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom this past weekend for it’s reopening, and ABC Commissary has come back to Hollywood Studios with an improved menu! Now, we’re also seeing gift shops returning to operation, and it seems that two stores in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion may be reopening this weekend!
Il Bel Cristallo and La Gemma Elegante, both shops in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion, are currently listed as “temporarily unavailable” on Disney World’s website. However, when you look at the calendar for Sunday, November 22nd, they both show operating hours of 11AM-10PM.Â
La Gemma Elegante is a store where you can shop for art, collectibles, and gifts, while Il Bel Cristallo is the pavilion’s shop for finer goods, including: porcelain, crystal, handbags, and Murano glass. While the hours on the website isn’t an official word from Disney, we have seen a recent trend in hours being posted before locations reopened.
So, if you’re in EPCOT this Sunday, there’s a chance these shops could be welcoming guests once again. We’ll be looking for more information on the reopening of these shops and reporting our findings from the parks this Sunday. Keep checking DFB for the latest in Disney’s reopening information!
