Greetings from Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’ve been running WILD around the park checking out everything new, so how about some updates?
Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Discovery Trading Post
We spotted the Limited Edition Cereal Box pins we’ve seen throughout the parks and resorts. We found three to the set: Chip’s Coco Chips, Timothy’s Circus Treats, and Professor Von Drake’s Letters and Numbers!
These pins, which cost $17.99 each, open up and have little puzzles inside!

We also found the CUTEST Plaid Holiday Flannel Shirts! Sure they look like cute Disney flannels from the front…

We don’t know about you, but we’re ready to put 2020 behind us, so that’s why we’re so happy to see 2021 merchandise popping up in the parks. And today, we spotted some new 2021 pins, reversible lanyards, lanyard and pin sets, and lanyard pouches!
Pins run from $12.99 to $14.99. The reversible lanyard is $12.99, and the lanyard pouch is $9.99. The lanyard and pin set is $32.99.

We also thought the Mickey & Co. Recycled Tees were WAY cool. They’re made from recycled materials! Fashionable and smart!
And there are sweatshirts with the OG Disney characters!
We shouldn’t be surprised as Disney has even made toys from recycled materials, too!

Animal Kingdom Attraction Updates
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kilimanjaro Safaris has a new pre-boarding video! The 7-minute video runs on a loop and is broken up into sections. The first section covers safety procedures while on the ride. Then it talks about the Walking Trek Tour, Disney’s conservation efforts, and night safaris!
There’s even a section about photography, including what settings your phone/camera should be on, especially for night photography. Then the video gives tips on how to spot animals while on the safari.

And that’s a wrap on our Animal Kingdom updates. We had fun finding the latest including new pins and a new video for an attraction! We’ll be back soon to see if anything else new pops up, so stay tuned!
