Disney really knows how to celebrate the holidays!

Holiday Character Cavalcade

From over-the-top decorations to delicious and Instagrammable snacks, there’s so much to see and do in the parks. This year alone we’ve seen Christmas-themed character cavalcades, special projections on park icons, tons of holiday merchandise, and just a general feel of Christmas cheer in the parks! But, Disney doesn’t stop their jolliness with the theme parks, because they’re also known for some exciting holiday programming, and this year will be no exception!

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration will premiere Thanksgiving Day 2020 at 9PM EST on ABC! This year’s show is a special 5th Anniversary edition, featuring “nostalgic performances from holidays past”. The show will be hosted by Derek and Julianne Hough again, but this time with co-host Trevor Jackson, star of grown-ish.

There will several flashback performances from some fantastic artists, including OneRepublic, Pentatonix, Becky G, Meghan Trainor, Brett Eldridge, and more! Kelly Clarkson will perform her hit version of “Underneath the Tree”, and Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell will unite to sing “When We’re Together” from the Disney short, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

Derek and Julianne will host from Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA, while Trevor Jackson will be stationed at Walt Disney World in Florida. The Hough siblings will kick off the show will a spectacular new holiday performance, and throughout the evening viewers will get sneak peeks into two of Disney’s projects: the upcoming Pixar movie Soul, and the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction coming to EPCOT.
