We sure hope you’re ready to get sippin’ because we found the best booth for imbibing!
That’s right, we’re munching and crunching our way through the 2020 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and that means that we’re feeling the need to stop for some drinks to wash down all the food. Luckily, World Showplace’s Prost! has us covered!
This year, the menu looks a little different since beer flights aren’t a thing in the interest of health and safety. But, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some GREAT beers! Here’s a glimpse at the menu.
Let’s dive into the options!
Food
Whaaaaaat? A beer-based booth has food? Why yes, yes it does! We’re trying out the Charcuterie and Cheese Plate for $6.50 to cushion the beer that we’re about to drink. This plate has an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruit spreads, and artisanal crackers.
The board was very good with awesome quality ingredients. Our big complaint is that it’s too small; what’s on there is good but it needs more of everything. There are lots of crackers but not too much to eat them with.
But the REAL action at Prost! is on the beverages side.
Beverages
Prost! is offering six different beers and ciders this year, four of which are NEW! You might recognize the M.I.A. Beer Company White Christmas IPA, and the 3 Daughters Brewing 70 Degree Winter Weizen. These options are very flavorful and great choices for beer-lovers.
Now, let’s talk about the NEW beer! This year, we’ve got the Playlalinda Brewing Co. Gingerblonde House Ale from Titusville, FL. This beer was a delight! It’s not too sweet and you can really taste the ginger.
And we’ve got some ciders to try too. First up, we’ve got Ciderboys Mad Bark Apple Cinnamon Hard Cider from Stevens Point, WI. This one was VERY potent but definitely still a tasty sip!
Next, we tried the new 3 Daughters Brewing Blueberry Peppercorn Hard Cider from St. Petersburg, FL. This cider was interesting. We could really taste the blueberry, but not the peppercorn. It’s not so sweet so maybe the peppercorn is in there to help with balance.
And finally, we’ve got the Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards 1911 Honey Crisp Hard Cider, from Lafayette, NY. This is the only one that we felt leaned a little too far to the sweet side. Still, it was a yummy sip!
You can snag each of these beers for $4.50 for a 6 oz pour or $8.50 for a 12 oz pour over at Prost! We won’t lie, it’s hard to pick a favorite! And honestly, we wish there was a flight! It can be difficult to down all of this when you can’t walk and drink. So keep that in mind!
