We love checking out the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays booth in France, which is called Le Marche de Noel.
And although many of the menu items for the booth are returning from last year, we’ve been excited to revisit old favorites and try new ones!
We took a quick glance at the menu and DUG IN.
Food
We tried this year’s new offering — the Dinde Forestière, Pommes Dauphines, which is turkey with bacon, mushrooms, onions in a mustard cream sauce with puffed potatoes. Doesn’t that sound delightful? This dish is $6.95.
The turkey in this is so good and moist. We even think people who don’t like turkey would enjoy this, especially as it’s covered in that yummy cream sauce with bacon and mushrooms. So tasty! There’s also a hint of mustard in the sauce. And the potatoes? They are fluffy potato cloud balls of happiness!
Now for the returning eats. We were big fans of the Rillette de Saumon last year. This is a salmon spread with house-made bread. The spread is DELICIOUS and has a great smoked flavor, along with hints of dill, sour cream, and mayo. It’s $5.75.
The Bûche de Noël au Caramel tends to be a hit as well. It’s a chocolate cake with dark chocolate caramel ganache, so basically, a DREAM come true for chocolate lovers. This is a returning favorite for several years running now, and we love seeing that it’s back again this year.
Beverages
But what about drinks? We started with a glass of the Village de France Cabernet Sauvignon for $6. It was a very good cabernet, but it was dry, so if you prefer a sweeter wine, this might not be for you.
But we had to try the Boosted Mimosa with Monin Immunity Boost, too, as it’s new! An alcohol drink with an immunity boost? Heck yeah! And it’s so important to keep our immune system healthy, right? Especially right now!
In the end, it pretty much just tasted like a regular mimosa, but we think we feel a little healthier after drinking it! This drink is $9.50.
The Rosé Pétillant Méthode Traditionnelle Champenoise, which is Rosé sparkling wine. It’s a refreshing drink that we previously enjoyed during the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. This is one smooth and yummy drink. It’s $12.
Another returning favorite of ours is the super chocolatey Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini for $10.75. This is Grey Goose Vanilla Vodka with chocolate milk. We recommend this for those who love chocolatey boozy drinks! Warning, though: this drink packs a bit of a punch!
Le Marche de Noel has a variety of options and is totally worth checking out! And we’re still trying everything at this year’s Festival of the Holidays, so stay tuned!
