Hong Kong Disneyland has already seen a few closures and reopenings due to the global health crisis.
The resort initially closed along with many other theme parks around the world, before reopening in June. It reclosed shortly after with rising cases in the region until its second reopening in September. Now, Hong Kong Disneyland may be closing once again.
According to the South China Mourning Post, Hong Kong is set to ramp up restrictions as the city recorded 76 new COVID-19 cases. These restrictions include some leisure closures.
The article notes, “Venues including game centres, theme parks, karaoke lounges, mahjong parlours and swimming pools will also be forced to close down.”
A reclosure is yet to be confirmed by Hong Kong Disneyland. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the sight and news from the resort to update you as soon as it is confirmed. Stay tuned!
