Good morning! We’re starting the day with a friendly reminder that Advance Dining Reservations are now open for The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom!
Now, there will be some pretty big changes when this table service restaurant reopens to guests on December 13th that you’ll definitely want to be aware of if you’re planning on dining at The Crystal Palace in the near future.
In case you missed the original announcement, Disney has shared that our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood that are typically present at The Crystal Palace — Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet — will be “taking a break” from greeting guests. So the restaurant will not present a character dining experience upon its initial reopening.
Also, you may be familiar with the traditional buffet at The Crystal Palace. The restaurant, however, will be serving a family-style meal for lunch and dinner when it reopens.
Options are already looking pretty tasty, with shared starters including Homestyle Buttermilk and Cheddar Bacon Biscuits, entrée choices such as the Fire-roasted Prime Rib of Beef, and a shared dessert platter including “A Hunny of a Cupcake.”
And that’s just scratching the surface…

And we’ve got ONE MORE friendly reminder for you: the updated window for making Advance Dining Reservations for table service restaurants in Walt Disney World is 60 days out. The Crystal Palace will be open for guests again on December 13, 2020, and we imagine this could be an especially in-demand spot around Christmas and the New Year.
We can’t wait to take you along for this updated dining experience right here on the DFB when it happens. See you real soon…from The Crystal Palace!
