It’s a chilly week at Disney World!
Believe it or not, it does get cold in Florida. Yes, not quite as cold as our friends in the North, but chilly enough to wear a sweater! We braved the “cold” weather and headed out for some warm beverages at the Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Hot Cocoa
To beat the cold, hot cocoa was being served at quick-service locations like Friar’s Nook, The Lunching Pad, and Sunshine Tree Terrace!
You can bundle up with a cup of cocoa and a Christmas Character Cavalcade to warm you up on chilly days! The cocoa costs $3.29 per cup.
Main Street Bakery
For those not-so-chilly days, the Irish Cream Cold Brew has returned to the Main Street Bakery and other Starbucks locations! The cold brew is made with Irish cream syrup, topped with a vanilla sweet cream cold foam, and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.
Also, the lines for Starbucks and Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea were especially long due to the cold weather. People really wanted their warm beverages!
There are a lot of specialty beverages and holiday treats to choose from at the Main Street Bakery right now!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Chilly Weather Clothing
Disney provided hoodies, gloves, and beanies for sale in gift shops like the Emporium, Village Gifts, and Memento Mori. The items are plain without Disney logos and were provided due to the weather. We also noticed Disney rainjackets were on display for guests!
We suggest packing a sweater so you’re not stuck in the cold during the winter weather!
Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
The Space Mountain gift shop is where you can design your own phone case, magnets, and t-shirts! The new iPhone 12 was recently released so Disney has provided custom cases in the new size.
New holiday designs for t-shirts were added to the design kiosks too! You can create your own Christmas shirts to remember your trip to Disney World.
The custom design kiosks are a great way to make your own Disney World souvenirs!
Emporium
The new attraction ornaments have proven to be very popular! The Cast Member told us that they are having a hard time keeping the Haunted Mansion, Country Bear Jamboree, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room ornaments on the shelves.
You can find the new ornaments in various gift shops around Disney World!
See the attraction ornament collection here!
The holidays have arrived at Disney World and the cold weather has blown in! We suggest warming up with a cup of cocoa and packing warm clothing if you’re visiting Disney World this week!
