Disney has just announced the latest round of cruise cancellations.
Just yesterday we reported that several cruise lines, including Carnival Cruise Line, had pushed their earliest sailings into March or April 2021. Now, Disney Cruise Line has once again delayed its return to sailing with another round of cancellations.
This morning, Disney Cruise Line announced that all departures through February 28th, 2021 have been canceled. Like with the other cruise lines, the reason for this delay is to meet the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance for cruising.
As with previous cancellations, those who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. You or your travel agent will receive an email detailing the next steps. They have also extended their final payment deadlines.
Those who have booked through a travel agent should contact them with questions. For those who booked directly, you can call (866) 325-6685 or (407) 566-7797 with any questions you may have after receiving your email.
Disney has previously noted that cruising will be one of the last arms of the company to return. As always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney updates and news.
