It’s true… Fort Wilderness is ALL DRESSED UP for the HOLIDAYS!

And yet, we found a snack still sporting some serious FALL vibes at P&J’s Southern Takeout.

This takeaway spot is where the Pumpkin Spice fans can still celebrate their favorite season (that is, of course, PUMPKIN SPICE Season!) with one of the last remaining Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes!

We couldn’t resist giving autumn a final wave goodbye by picking up this fall-flavored treat. It’s a vanilla cupcake topped with spiced buttercream and fall sprinkles with pumpkin filling inside.

Fort Wilderness Decorations

And, of course, while the Happy Campers at Fort Wilderness are enjoying the festive decorations of the season, there are more than simply sweet and rustic trees and garlands to enjoy.

It’s always fun spotting the guest’s golf carts all geared up to celebrate, too!

Over at Wilderness Lodge, meanwhile, the Christmas Cupcake is ready to fit in with the holiday season.

We thought this spiced cupcake from Roaring Fork was quite pretty, with its green vanilla buttercream, a dusting of powder sugar “snow,” holiday sprinkles, and a yellow fondant star on top!

Beyond what you can see at a glance, there’s also a raspberry filling tucked inside. Did that make this treat taste as good as it looks?

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Merchandise Updates

A trip to the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile revealed several goodies! Among them, the Disney Fanntasy Pin Packs, featuring Disney characters on fanny pack designs!

Sixteen in all make up the collection. Which would you most want?

The seasonal Mickey Snow Wands (we lovingly refer to them as Personal SNOAP Wands, for all your snoap-making needs) were also at the ready to spread some SNOAPY yuletide cheer!

At Gasparilla Island Grill, the Minnie Mouse Oreo Cupcake got a rather merry makeover!

This cookies ‘n cream-filled chocolate cupcake is all dolled up with chocolate ganache topping, holiday sprinkles, two Oreo Minnie Ears (of course!), a white chocolate bow colored red, and a sugar cube peppermint piece.

There has also been a change to the Fruit Tart in the Gasparilla Island Grill bakery case.

You’ll currently find an Almond Fruit Tart with fresh raspberries and blueberries among the options.
