Who’s ready for a festive trip around the Monorail loop??

Now that the holiday season is in full-swing around Disney World, we’ve seen a ton of new additions make their way to the parks and resorts! So, we decided to take a trip around the Monorail loop hotels to see what new food, merchandise, and construction updates have popped up since our last visit. Let’s take a look!

What’s New at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

While we didn’t notice anything new on the menus at the Contemporary, it did look like the holiday crowds have arrived in the resorts! It was packed at Outer Rim, the lounge located in the Grand Canyon Concourse on the fourth floor.

There aren’t any brand new additions at Contempo Cafe either, but if you’re looking for a holiday snack, there are plenty of options to choose from!

Contemporary Resort Merchandise Updates

In Bayview Gifts, we noticed a ton of pre-made holiday gift baskets available for purchase.

Plus, there are plenty of 2021 Ornaments in stock at Bayview Gifts, for those already looking forward to next year!

Now, let’s head over to Fantasia!

This is where we spotted the new Mandalorian Pin for $15.99 which is a great gift idea for fans of the series!

Over in Fantasia Market, we also spotted a selection of gift baskets.

And if you’re looking for a good deal, Twinings Tea boxes are on sale for $5 each when you buy four!

We also spotted this same sale in the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT!

What’s New at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Grand Floridian Resort Food Updates

While we were visiting Grand Floridian, we tried to stop by Enchanted Rose twice, and both times there was a super long line of guests trying to get a seat!

Enchanted Rose recently brought back their Seasonal Old Fashioned, made with Widow Jane 10yr Straight Bourbon Whiskey, house-made seasonal syrup, and bitters. 

So, if Enchanted Rose is a must-do for you this holiday season, be prepared for a potentially long line to get in!

Grand Floridian Resort Entertainment Update

We were also treated to the return of live music at Grand Floridian — the piano player has now returned to the lobby of the resort!

While we’re definitely still missing the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, it was so nice to catch some live music in the lobby again!

What’s New at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Polynesian Village Resort Food Updates

We tried a few new holiday treats at the Poly, starting with the Holiday Cupcake at Captain Cook’s.

This chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream and a white chocolate peppermint filling was gorgeous to look at, thanks to the edible glitter covering the frosting! You can give it a try for $5.99.

And out at the Barefoot Pool Bar, we treated ourselves to the Jingle Juice cocktail!

Made with Jim Beam Black with cranberry, lime, and cinnamon, topped with Ginger Beer, this was STRONG and not overly sweet!

Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update

We had the chance to check out the construction on the beams on the roof of the resort as we were heading in on the Monorail.

It looks like they’ve made some solid progress since the last time we checked it out!

And last but not least, we headed over to BouTiki, where we spotted some Aulani merchandise featuring Duffy and Friends! There’s a headband for $35…

…and a tote bag for $45!
