There are SO many ways Disney is planning to “take us to space” in the near future.
For one, Space 220 will be opening (someday) in EPCOT so that guests can dine in space (although it’s been delayed several times so we’re really questioning if we made it all up at this point). Plus, the Galactic Starcruiser (the Star Wars Hotel), will transport guests INTO the Star Wars universe like never before!
Today, thanks to pilot @bioreconstruct, we’re checking in on the progress on Galactic Starcruiser from ABOVE! The building is structurally complete from the outside, as we’ve seen. For a peek at what’s inside, check out this picture from a REAL room!
Aerial look at roads near Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser (hotel). The bridged road at center used to be the guest entrance to DHS parking; now cast parking entrance. The berm at right used to be an overpass with theming and billboards facing guests entering DHS parking. pic.twitter.com/xsbeV63ies

Aerial overview of Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser (hotel). A berm recently added at arrow. Seems to be vegetation starting where a forest will be transplanted to hide the show building and cabins. Guests to see only the Porte Cochère and the themed tall wall. pic.twitter.com/RL79M8Gqcz

Mark Steven Russell says
My Question, if they travel to Batuu, what will stop them from visiting the rest of the park?
DFB Sarah says
Mark, I don’t know that they would be forbidden to explore other areas, but we’ll have to see how that’s handled or addressed in policy.
Jeffrey+G+Clinard says
Perhaps the visits to Batuu are done after-hours.
Lissa says
I hope it doesn’t open until the Covid-related restrictions are completely gone. If I am going to pay 5 figures for the experience, I want nothing of the real world to intrude.
