We’re tuning in LIVE to the Walt Disney Company’s virtual Investors Day and we’re getting A LOT of big news!

We’ve gotten updates on Disney+’s subscriber count, new series coming to Disney+, and release dates for upcoming movies. Now we’re getting tons of updates on the Star Wars content from Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm, and she revealed two new shows that are coming to Disney’s streaming platform (stay tuned she announced even more)!
So far, The Mandalorian has been an incredible success for Disney, and that success is inspiring the launch of not one, but TWO new spinoff shows on Disney+: Ahsoka and The Rangers of the New Republic.

These shows will be set within the same timeline as The Mandalorian, the shows will be interconnected and will culminate in a “climactic story event.” These shows will premiere Christmas of 2021 and we just can’t wait!
