We have gotten a TON of Marvel news today at Disney’s Investor Day presentation!
Marvel fans were treated to a new Loki trailer, a The Falcon and the Winter Soldier release date, and the news that FOUR more Marvel original series are in the works! But amidst all the good news, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige paused to honor the late Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther in the MCU, passed away earlier this year from colon cancer.
Kevin Feige took a moment to discuss the tremendous loss of Chadwick Boseman and also confirmed that the role of T’Challa will NOT be recast in future films, including Black Panther 2.
Black Panther 2 is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 8, 2022, and fans are anxious to see how the future of Wakanda will play out.
One thing is for certain though — it won’t be the same without the King! We will continue to update you as we learn new details about the MCU.
