Are you planning to visit Walt Disney World for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or another day in December?
We’ll, one important thing you’ll need to keep in mind is that (in addition to your park ticket) you need a Park Pass Reservation for the park you want to visit. We’ve seen Park Pass Availability for December changing quite a bit lately, and today it’s changed AGAIN. If you haven’t gotten your Park Passes for December already, NOW is the time to do so!
Theme Park Tickets Guests
Just a few days ago, Disney Park Pass availability looked like this for the month of December for Theme Park Tickets Guests — with mostly yellow days (meaning one or more parks are already unavailable for those dates).
But today, we’re seeing a mostly green availability calendar for Theme Park Tickets Guests! On December 12th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and EPCOT are unavailable, and on December 13th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is booked, but other than that there is FULL availability at all 4 parks for the rest of the month for Theme Park Tickets Guests, including for New Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, and Christmas Eve.
But, of course, this availability is subject to change again. So, if you haven’t already booked your Park Passes, we highly recommend you do so now while there is such broad availability.
Disney Resort Guests
The calendar looks very similar for Disney Resort guests. Currently, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and EPCOT are unavailable for the 12th, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is unavailable for the 13th. But other than that, the calendar is almost entirely green, signaling full availability on those days.
That’s a great amount of availability for Disney Resort Guests to really take advantage of.
Annual Passholders
For Annual Passholders, the calendar is not quite so green. This is what Annual Passholder availability looked like a few days ago.
And here’s what it looks like today. It’s largely the same with the 11th, 12th, and 13th showing as fully booked at all 4 parks, and some yellow days throughout part of the month. There is still full availability for Annual Passholders at all 4 parks, however, for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
But, availability on Christmas Day has filled up a bit for Annual Passholders. Currently, Park Passes for Magic Kingdom for December 25th are not available for Annual Passholders.
Again, this availability could change in the future. If you haven’t already booked your Park Passes for an upcoming trip, we recommend you do so as soon as possible. We’ll continue to monitor Park Pass availability and provide you with key updates of any major changes!
