We’ve been anxiously awaiting reopening announcements for several Disney resorts for months now!
Some of Disney’s resorts have opened fully, like the Grand Floridian, while others are still only partially opened with the DVC sections operating. On top of that, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is currently under construction — undergoing a massive refurbishment to be completed next summer. We previously received an opening date for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, but now it seems as though that date has been pushed back!
While the resort was originally announced to be opening on February 9th, 2021, Disney’s website has been updated to state that the resort is now reopening on March 22, 2021.
This means that the resort will be reopening in the heart of Spring Break.
With this announcement also came the news of reopening dates for Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Beach Club will open on May 30th, while Wilderness Lodge will open June 6th.Â
If your vacation was affected by this change, make sure to contact your travel agent or Disney directly to see about switching resorts. We’ll be on the lookout for any more reopening details, so stay tuned to DFB!
