“it’s a small world” has been undergoing a little face lift since October, with HUGE scrims and walls covering the majority of the entrance of this classic Magic Kingdom attraction.
While these blue, pink, and green scrims are quite colorful, well, they pale in comparison to the boat ride’s classic Fantasyland facade!
It’s been over TWO months since we saw the classic marquee for “it’s a small world,” though the ride has been operational this whole time. But today, some of the scrim came DOWN, and the jolly boat filled with kids from all over the earth is back!
We noticed that there IS a new paint job, courtesy of this Wet Paint sign featuring that rascal Stitch!
And oh boy! Those colors are looking NICE and BRIGHT, just like the interior of this attraction. The light pink hue has been swapped for a BOLD purple shade!
There is still some scrim and construction walls surrounding “it’s a small world,” but it sure is nice to see more of this attraction from the outside again! And when there are more construction updates around Magic Kingdom and the rest of Walt Disney World, we’ll keep you updated about how they’ll impact your vacation!
