If you’re looking for a thrill, Hollywood Studios has some great options for “big kid” rides!
You can “drop in” at the Tower of Terror, become a pilot on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, or blast off to an Aerosmith concert at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Given how popular these attractions are, the new health and safety measures and physical distancing can definitely decrease the number of guests that get to ride them each day. But today, we noticed a BIG change in safety measures on one of these attractions.
Over at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Cast Members are now loading every row on the coaster. Previously guests were seated every other row to maintain physical distancing, but now, it seems that the procedures have changed.
There’s plexiglass up in the boarding area for the ride, there is no plexiglass of any sort on the attraction itself.
This will potentially mean shorter wait times for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. We will keep our eyes on it and we’ll keep an eye out for any more Disney World attractions that begin boarding guests every row, and we’ll let you know if this continues to occur.
