As the ongoing health crisis continues, we have been keeping an eye out for news regarding COVID-19.
Pfizer’s vaccine was authorized by the FDA last week and recently California hit a record-setting number of daily cases. But now, the FDA has approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, making it the second to be available for emergency use.
The vaccine was authorized for emergency use, which the CDC recommends as frontline healthcare workers and nursing homes, according to Orlando Sentinel.
Doses of the newly-approved vaccine are supposed to arrive on Monday and will be shipped all over the country. The vaccine is similar to the Pfizer vaccine except that it comes in smaller doses and does not have to be stored at ultra-cold temperatures, which makes it easier for distribution.
As more information about COVID-19 vaccines is announced, we will continue to keep you updated.

Be careful of wording , authorized for emergency use is not the same as approval. Still, anything that will get me back to a normal Crystal Palace breakfast buffet I am excited for 😀
