Happy Holidays! We’ve been eating SO many holiday snacks at Disney World!
But we’ve also been at every recent restaurant reopening and kept an eye on menu updates! So here’s what’s happened with Disney restaurants this past week!
Magic Kingdom
Cinderella’s Royal Table
We visited Cinderella’s Royal Table when it reopened back in September and enjoyed several entrees there, including chicken and tenderloin of beef (we had a choice of 4!). But now a new entree has been added to the menu — Braised Lamb Shank, which is served with Cannellini Bean Ragoût, Caramelized Pickled Shallots, and Herbed Panko Breadcrumbs.
If that sounds good, you can grab a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table to enjoy it. Both lunch and dinner are available now, priced at $62.00 per adult, and $37.00 per child (ages -9). For adults, the meal includes a choice of one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert. For kids, it includes a choice of one appetizer, one entree, two sides, and a dessert.

Breakfast
Several new breakfast options are coming to Magic Kingdom from December 20th through January 2nd (which makes sense because Magic Kingdom will open at 8AM). During that time, you’ll be able to get Donut Holes at Westward Ho and The Friar’s Nook. YUM.
Those two locations, along with The Lunching Pad will also have an Egg & Bacon Croissant Breakfast Sandwich.

The Crystal Palace
The Crystal Palace has officially reopened! Things are a little different now, though — for starters, there aren’t any characters (this used to be a great place to meet Winnie the Pooh and friends). Also, there is no longer a self-service buffet. Instead, there’s a menu (which you access on your phone via a QR code) that is now offering a combo of Family Style and a la carte items for lunch and dinner.
The Winnie The Pooh characters DO appear in the restaurant but as cute topiaries. We found the food, though, to be of higher quality than we expected.

Woody’s Lunch Box
It seems that Disney is realizing that people need more breakfast options while in the parks, especially when places that once carried breakfast items, like Woody’s Lunch Box, have no longer been offering anything. But we discovered that some of Woody’s breakfast options have officially returned!
It’s only two items, but we’ll take it! The two returning breakfast items are the Breakfast Bowl ($8.79) and Kid’s Breakfast Bowl ($5.49). Both include potato barrels (tots), gravy, scrambled eggs, and green onions. The Kid’s bowl comes with an orange, potato barrels, and a drink.
However, a Cast Member told us that like in Magic Kingdom, these offerings might only be temporary through the holiday season.

EPCOT
Spice Road Table
Spice Road Table at EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion reopened this week! The Pavilion is being handed over to Disney completely for its day-to-day operations, and the restaurant had closed temporarily. But it did reopen with one change — the menu is now all Mediterranean Small Bites.
You’ll now find the following items on the menu:
- Hummus Fries with citrus chipotle and preserved lemon for $10
- Pomegranate-Chili Crispy Cauliflower with Red Pepper Aleppo Sauce (Plant-based) for $10
- Fried Calamari with Remoulade and Harissa Sauce for $12
- Grilled Lamb Kefta with Tzatziki, Radish, and Cherry Tomato Confit for $12
- Naan Spreads with Hummus, Chermoula, Marinated Olives, and Za’atar for $10

YeSake
YeSake added a new bun to its menu: a Pizza Bun! This is a Japanese-style bun with sausage marínala and cheese inside it. It’s inspired by a Japanese winter street food called “Pizza Man.”
The one we got, though, didn’t have any cheese inside, but we reviewed it anyway. You can try one for yourself for $6, hopefully WITH cheese.

Disney Resorts
Chef Mickey’s
Although Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort reopened back in the summer, characters did not put in an appearance. Well, we are happy to report that characters have officially returned to Chef Mickey’s! We spotted Mickey…
Along with many of his friends, including Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto! So character dining has officially returned to Chef Mickey’s!

Animal Kingdom Lodge
The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge has been closed since the resort reopened. But we learned that it would reopen soon — but only temporarily. The Disney World website has hours listed for the location for breakfast from 7:30AM – 11:30 AM on December 23rd through January 2nd.
So it seems that The Mara will reopen only for the holiday season, but it does give Disney World guests one more breakfast option on-property.

Those are all the dining location updates we have for this week — but stay tuned, because we’ll be back next week with even more!
