Each land in Magic Kingdom has something special to offer.
We love the futuristic feel of Tomorrowland, Adventureland gives us our Dole Whip fix, and Fantasyland just screams “classic” Disney. Liberty Square is home to our favorite happy haunts and delicious Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake from Liberty Tree Tavern, and we love plummeting down Splash Mountain in Frontierland. Plus, Main Street just makes us feel like we’re at home. It’s hard to imagine Magic Kingdom without each of these iconic lands…but we asked you to do just that!
We posted a question on our Instagram page, asking everyone which Magic Kingdom land would have to go if they had to choose. And we get it…it’s NOT an easy decision. Many responses shared sentiments like, “I just can’t do it!” and “Impossible!”
However, on the other hand, many less forgiving respondents shared which land they would say goodbye if the opportunity arose.
Lots of people shared that they would vote Tomorrowland off the island if given the chance. Home to Space Mountain, the PeopleMover, and famous performer, Sonny Eclipse, Tomorrowland brings a look into the future right into Magic Kingdom.
However, some respondents said this land felt dated! Maybe those feelings will change once the upcoming attraction, TRON Lightcycle Run, opens in 2021!
Another land that many people seemed happy to see go is Liberty Square.
Maybe the American theme of this land feels a little too familiar for those seeking something full of fantasy and magic on their Disney trip, but it’s definitely tough to imagine a life without Haunted Mansion and all the other goodies that come along with Liberty Square!
Plus, we’re looking forward to the return of the Liberty Square Riverboat once its refurbishment has completed.
Adventureland seemed to have a decent number of nay-sayers, too! If you’re not a Pirates-stan, you prefer a Mickey Premium Bar over Dole Whip, and you can’t stand corny jokes about the jungle, then we see why Adventureland may not be for you.
Frontierland and Fantasyland had some people saying “good riddance,” but not as many as the previous lands.
Some specific attractions even got the boot! It looks like some people are ready to say “sayonara” to the Astro Orbiter, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Country Bear Jamboree!
This was a really tricky decision that we’re glad we don’t actually have to make, but we love to hear your thoughts! Follow along with us on Instagram for more polls, trivia, and Disney news!

It’s most telling that you didn’t even include the “non” land: Storybook Circus!!! What a colossal waste of land! And it was at the expense of Mickey’s house too. Disney can certainly design and execute better than this if they wanted to do something sweet for the small fry! I say Good Bye Storybook Circus!

“Some replied” is a weak way to fill a puff piece. Walt Disney was almost named Planner of the 20th Century. Why ask to gut a land that’s both dream and legacy. TRON is an example of evolving without resorting to gutting.
