When it comes to certain desserts, we’re firm believers that the gooier it is the better!
Bread pudding is the PRIME example, and we tried the gooiest version at Disney World that’s PERFECT for cooler temps, aka hot cocoa weather!
This time of year, there’s something so satisfying about a warm bowl of bread pudding combined with sea salt caramel AND chocolate! So of course we HAD to try the Hot Cocoa Sea Salt Caramel Bread Pudding at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
It’s been a menu mainstay at Hollywood Scoops for a while, but we wanted to wait until cooler weather to give it a try! And now that humidity is a distant memory, it’s BREAD PUDDING TIME.
Loaded up with chocolate chips and salty caramel, this is a super gooey treat! It’s also a promising dessert for chocolate-lovers!
A nice warm alternative to ice cream, it tastes like a pretty classic bread pudding with a hint of caramel…and a WALLOP of chocolate!
The spoonfuls with chocolate chips definitely have the strongest flavor, so if you’re a chocoholic, you’ll LOVE this! For us, we actually preferred the bites without chocolate, as the “Hot Cocoa” flavor kind of overwhelmed the rest of the pudding.
Combined with the wisps of salt and caramel, it felt like a TAD too many flavors, tbh. Personally, we think we’ll stick with the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding… .
That being said, if you like your dessert with a LOT of chocolate flavor and that classic gooey bread pudding texture, this is your jam!
You can try it for yourself for $5.29 at Hollywood Scoops!
Our favorite bread pudding has shown up in ANOTHER location in Disney World!
