It’s the last day of 2020 and the last day of Disney’s official Christmas season!
There are lots of decorations still posted around Disney World, but we did notice some signs of the holiday season ending today in Disney World. Take a look at the spots where Christmas is disappearing!
This is a pic from Magic Kingdom earlier this season where you can see the Partners Statue surrounded by some seriously GORGEOUS red poinsettias.
But TODAY, those poinsettias are gone to be replaced with pretty yellow buds. These blooms are a good choice to welcome in 2021, don’t you think?
You’ll notice that garland is still up in the Emporium, but the big holiday merch display at the front of the store has been totally replaced with some 2021 merch!
Similarly, the wall that USED to be filled with ornaments is now loaded up with the new Reigning Cats and Dogs collection. Pet lovers, get excited!
Over in EPCOT, we noticed a very BIG piece of the holiday spirit was missing. The Christmas tree has been removed!
Now, as you can see from the pics in the Emporium, some Christmas is still very much present in Disney World! In fact, we spotted a bunch of decorations still up around the parks AND you can still get most of the yummy holiday treats!
Those probably won’t be here for long though so you better hurry to soak up the last drops of Christmas spirit! We’re reporting today and tomorrow with all the exciting New Year’s news in Disney World. Stay tuned!
