It’s no secret that we have some favorite snacks at Disney World, and we’re always sad when they go away, even temporarily!
We’ve been a fan of the Carrot Cake Cookie since we discovered it at Writer’s Stop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It later turned up at Sweet Spells. Now that both locations are gone, though, we see it often at the Trolley Car Cafe.
But it disappeared a few months ago to make way for the Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie. And although we enjoyed the new treat, we missed our Carrot Cake Cookie! But today, the beloved cookie is back!!! 🎉🎉🎉
This iconic treat is made with loads of yummy cream cheese frosting sandwiched between two delicious cake-like carrot cake cookies. It’s also HUGE, so you can share it with a friend or just snack on it ALL DAY.
You can treat yo self now and grab one for $3.99. And we’ll keep an eye out for more of our favorite returning treats!

Does anyone know if the carrot cake cookie has pineapple in it? I really really want to share this with my partner when we eventually go to WDW but they are allergic to pineapple.
DFB Sarah says
Aiden, the recipe calls for pineapple, but definitely ask to see the ingredients when you’re at Trolley Car. You could also try emailing Disney before you go ([email protected]).

The carrot cake cookie has been my absolute favorite Disney treat but I just went in April and the cream cheese frosting tastes nothing like cream cheese. It has some off taste and texture. I brought some home and after refrigerating them the frosting has a rubbery texture. I even took a video of me separating the frosting. It was very gross. I can’t understand why the cream cheese frosting was replaced with something so bad.
DFB Sarah says
Thanks for sharing, Tina. I’ve let the team know.

Is it possible to buy the cookies online and have them sent to me in NY?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Maggie! Unfortunately Disney does not ship the carrot cake cookie.

I miss the 2010 Selma’s original carrot cake cookie that was an actual cookie with the delicious blob of cream cheese frosting atop! We used to find them at Disney “Marketplace” and they were the best. This new version is tasty but more of a cake than cookie.

As an David lover of that cookie – I can be honest here in saying That is NOT the same Carrot Cake cookie. It was awful and the middle was the furthest thing from cream cheese , it’s gummy and terrible. This is more two pieces of extremely moist carrot cake that is messy and sticks to your fingers and is tasteless + has raisins.
K says
“avid” – sorry, it was auto correct. lol

Haven’t had a carrot cake cookie in years so I was very excited to get one in Hollywood Studios. All I can tell you is that whatever it is they placed in between the slices of cake is NOT cream cheese frosting! It has a texture similar to rubber with no taste at all. I was afraid to keep eating it because it was so foreign to my taste buds! What an extreme disappointment! Comes completely off of my favorite snacks at Hollywood Studios, much less WDW
