There’s no shortage of amazing eats at Disney World and just about everyone has some sort of Disney food bucket list. We even created the DFB’s Disney food bucket list with our #OnTheList series a couple of years ago!
And while you may be familiar with those classic snacks (hello Mickey Premium Bars), there could be quite a few Disney treats that you may have TOTALLY forgotten about! So, we’re sharing our list of the 10 Disney World eats that you might have forgotten to add to your Disney food bucket list!
Our list includes everything from sweet treats to savory items and even a drink! Let’s dig in!
1. Num Num Cookies
Jack-Jack certainly loved his num num cookies in Incredibles 2, and we can see why! A few years ago, Num Num Cookies appeared in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we thanked the cookie gods for their newest creation. This treat is made of a big (and we mean BIG) delicious, warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie, similar to the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums that you can find at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park!
The cookies sold in Disney’s Hollywood Studios are actually made by a local bakery. You used to be able to grab them from the local bakery itself for MUCH cheaper than in the parks, but sadly the bakery later announced they would no longer be selling them direct to customers.
But, if you want to chow down on some Num Num Cookie deliciousness, you can snag these cookies right now at The Market in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Or, you can try to make them at home with this recipe!

2. Bubble Waffles
If you’re in Disney Springs and looking for something delicious and sweet, head over to Marketplace Snacks and get yourself a Bubble Waffle! But what even IS a bubble waffle?! Well, quite simply it’s waffle batter but instead of the familiar grid pattern, it’s made into a thinner bubble patter — it almost looks like giant bubble wrap in food form! In these treats, the bubble waffle acts as the “cone” that holds in all kinds of delicious fillings, like ice cream, caramel, and whipped cream.
Bubble Waffles used to be over at the former AristoCrepes, but that location closed down and turned into Swirls on the Water, so now you can find the waffles at Marketplace Snacks! Right now they have Mickey Bubble Waffle Sundaes themed after Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Donald, and Pluto!
They have a ton of toppings, for example, the Goofy Peanut Grand Waffle Sundae has vanilla and chocolate soft-serve with hot fudge, peanuts, sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, mini M&M’S, and a cherry. So, basically they’re like next-level amazing ice cream sundaes.

3. Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork
If you’re looking for something less sweet and more savory, head over to Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for some delicious Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork! This is technically an entree, but share it with a few friends and it could make a great (and pretty filling) snack. The dish comes with Baked Macaroni and Cheese topped with Smoked Pulled Pork, Onion Rings, Coleslaw, and a drizzle of barbecue sauce.
We’re suckers for good mac and cheese in Disney World and this stuff is the bee’s knees! Flame Tree’s slow-smoked pulled pork is usually really good on its own but mixed with the cheesy mac, creamy coleslaw, and tangy sauce it’s downright magical. Plus, bonus onion rings! It’s tasty, filling, and you can add your own special touch with the amount of barbecue sauce you choose to add (and you should totally add extra barbecue sauce on top!). If you haven’t tried it already, consider adding it to your Disney food bucket list!

4. Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites
Wine Bar George has quickly become a true game-changer in Disney Springs. It’s the restaurant nearly everyone agrees is great, and it’s definitely one of our favorite spots to visit. If you’ll be stopping by Wine Bar George to taste some of the deliciousness there for yourself, we HIGHLY recommend that you order the Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites!
Where do we even begin?! These are incredible! The Mac & Cheese Bites are served on top of tomato nage (which is basically a thinner tomato sauce) and are sprinkled with pecorino cheese. Both of those elements add a nice little zip to complement the creamy mac. The coating is perfectly crispy, the mac inside is creamy and cheesy — really, you can’t go wrong here (unless you don’t eat cheese).
Not planning to sit down very long for your meal and looking to just grab a quick snack instead? You can get these Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites to go from The Basket, which is the Quick Service location for Wine Bar George located right outside of the restaurant. YUM.

5. Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookies
Another must-have on the Disney food bucket list is Gideon’s Bakehouse — A.K.A. the place with “the best cookie in Disney World.” At first, Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies were served at The Polite Pig in Disney Springs, and they could be quite difficult to snag before the limited quantity available at the store sold out each day. For us, these cookies were truly love at first bite. And really, what’s not to love? They’re each nearly a half-pound in weight(!) and totally filled or topped with all kinds of delicious chocolate chips or other treats.
So, when Gideon’s Bakehouse announced that they would be opening their own stand-alone location in Disney Springs we nearly cried tears of joy and our wallets cried tears of sadness knowing how much money we’d be spending in the future on cookies and cake slices. Believe us, we’ve had our fair share of Gideon’s cookies. We’ve also had their giant cake slices, coffees, and their mini TUBS of frosting and basically fell in love all over again.
Gideon’s is SUPER popular — we’ve seen virtual queues hovering around 3 HOURS to get in! We’ve had some pretty awesome set treats over here and we think you’ll definitely want to go out of your way and stop by for your chance to sample their incredible treats!

6. Wookiee Cookie
Maybe you can’t quite nail that signature Chewbacca roar, but you can have a delicious snack that’s shaped like him — the Wookiee Cookie — while at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
This is like those Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies but, like, 1000% better! The treat is made with two chewy oatmeal cookies, sandwiched together with a fluffy whoopie-pie cream filling, and topped with a chocolate strip designed to look like Chewbacca’s bandolier. It’s essentially a Wookiee Whoopie Cookie. Aside from being super cute, this cookie sandwich is SUPER yummy!
The filling is like a whoopie pie center, but slightly fluffier. That paired really well with the chewy oatmeal cookies that had just enough of that oatmeal flavor. While there are some delicious snacks in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, this is one intergalactic treat you’ll find outside of the land — over at nearby Backlot Express.

7. Peanut Butter Pie at Contempo Cafe
If you are a BIG Peanut Butter fan, you’ve got to check out the Peanut Butter Pie at Contempo Cafe in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We’ve sung the praises of this sweet treat for years now and it still is at the top of our list. This is a Vanilla Tart Shell filled with Custard and Peanut Butter filling, drizzled with Chocolate Ganache and topped with Crispy Chocolate Pearls. SO. MUCH. YUM.
The shell is perfectly soft and the Custard and Peanut Butter filling is delicious. It’s almost more like peanut butter fudge. This treat is salty but sweet, rich but delicious, and something you WON’T want to miss out on. It has even gotten a makeover a couple of times to dress it up for holidays! If you like peanut butter, add it to your list RIGHT NOW!

8. Treats from L’Artisan des Glaces
L’Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion in EPCOT is a spot that’s easy to miss. If you’re only walking on the outside of the pavilion, you won’t see it at all. You’ll need to head to the back and over to the left side of the France pavilion to spot this small ice cream shop.
You might be thinking, “what item is so special at this shop? Isn’t it just ice cream?”. Oh no, my friend. It’s much more than just ice cream. It’s hand-made fresh artisan ice creams and sorbets. There are SO many delicious treats here that we could add to this list, but for now we’ll focus on two. First, the Ice Cream Martini! When you get an Ice Cream Martini here, you get to choose your ice cream flavor and whether you want Grand Marnier, whipped cream vodka, or rum.
Previously, we’ve gone for a tropical vibe and got two scoops of Pina Colada Ice Cream with a shot of Rum. Talk about a drink made for paradise! If you’re looking for something delicious and cool (which can be perfect on a hot Florida day), with a bit of a punch of rum or other alcohol in it, an Ice Cream Martini could be JUST the thing!

If you’re not looking for an alcoholic treat, but still want to enjoy some ice cream in a unique way, may we suggest the Macaron ice cream sandwich also from L’Artisan! The flavors of this delicious treat change throughout the year. We’ve had a Raspberry version, a pumpkin spice one, and a Christmas version too.
The treat essentially consists of some delicious ice cream sandwiched between two macarons. The macarons are typically wonderfully soft and almost chewy and the ice cream is cool and refreshing. It’s a fantastic snack or dessert!

9. Caramel Popcorn from Karamell-Küche
Another fan-favorite treat you’ll want to add to your list is the freshly made Caramel Popcorn from Karamell-Küche! Sure, you could try to make it at home, but there’s something special about getting it made fresh in the Germany pavilion in EPCOT. If you’ve ever walked past the Germany pavilion and wondered why it ALWAYS SMELLS SO GOOD, this, friends, is your answer.
You might think that it’s just ordinary caramel popcorn, but this stuff has quite the cult following, and there’s really no way for you to fully understand until you try it yourself. The caramel is so flavorful and buttery, and the popcorn is well-coated with it. The Werther’s caramel is prepared fresh on-site and you can usually spot Cast Members working in the kitchen whipping up batches of freshly coated popcorn or other caramel-covered goodies.
While you’re at Karamell-Küche, don’t miss out on the other caramel treats there like their cookies, marshmallow wands, and boozy caramels, but the popcorn will always remain our ride or die snack from this spot. It makes a great treat to take home with you, too (if it lasts that long!).
AND, you can also get this caramel corn outside of EPCOT now! Find it (along with some other Werther’s goodies) at Big Top Treats in Magic Kingdom!

10. Carrot Cake Cookie
Love carrot cake? Then you simply MUST add the Carrot Cake Cookie from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to your list. We’ve loved this cookie for many years now! Originally, this treat was over at Writer’s Stop (which is no longer in existence). Then, it was at Sweet Spells for a while (which has also since closed). Now, you can typically find this signature treat over at Trolley Car Cafe. The treat is made up of two soft cakey carrot cake cookies with delicious cream cheese frosting in the middle.
It’s not quite a cake and not quite a cookie — it’s the best of both worlds FILLED with cream cheese frosting to tie it all together. If you love cream cheese frosting, this is the treat for you!

MJK says
L’Artisan des Glaces is my favorite in Epcot! I’ve made it a must every time I go, and I make sure to get some kind of specialty/seasonal treat each time.
