Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
We’ve got plenty of food, construction, and merchandise updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Main Street Confectionery
We might be welcoming a new year in Disney World, but the parks are also introducing a whole lot of brand new treats to kick off 2021 (and, yes, we’ve been snacking our way through them all). Although we’ve seen many of the pineapple and cookies and cream items over in Disney Springs, now they’ve made their way to the Main Street Confectionery too. Along with all the cupcakes available (😍) there are SO MANY Jumbo Pineapple Mickey Sugar Cookies available! They take up almost half the case!!
…you can also find the Cookies and Cream Rice Krispie Treat…
Read our full review of the Cookies and Cream Rice Krispie Treat here!
…Pineapple Fudge, Cookies and Cream Fudge…
…and Cookies and Cream Caramel Apple! Is anybody else’s sweet tooth practically quaking??
Take a look at our review of ALL the new Pineapple Treats here!
Plus, if you’re STILL craving something sweet after all that, you can find the Rainbow Cotton Candy Cupcake in the Main Street Confectionery!
The cupcake has a light cotton candy flavor in the cake portion with a regular (non-cotton candy flavored) buttercream frosting, topped with Minnie ears and a bow, as well as colorful sprinkles.
Take a look at the Cotton Candy Cupcake here!
You can also find a few new fan-favorite candy options in the Magic Kingdom too! There are a whole bunch of new lollipops in the park, including the Woody and Slinky Dog Watermelon Lollipop…
…Mickey & Minnie Mouse Sour-Tutti Frutti Lollipop…
…Minnie Mouse Wishables Tutti Frutti Lollipop…
…and a set of three Wishables Themed Lollipops with the Lemon Mickey Lollipop, Donald Duck Blue Raspberry Lollipop, and Minnie Mouse Strawberry Lollipop.
Each of the new lollipops range from $3.59 to $6.99, depending on the size and set you choose for yourself!

Main Street Bakery
Since Starbucks is saying goodbye to the holidays, the Main Street Bakery is welcoming new seasonal treats to the menu! Guests can now sip on the Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Frappuccino…
…as well as the returning Earth Day Cake Pop…
…and Red Velvet Loaf for Valentine’s Day!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
The Emporium
The start of the next school semester is just around the corner for many kiddos and college students! You can give them a little bit of encouragement with the Monsters University Bracelets…
…that are adjustable to fit any sized “monster” for $14.99!
While they may not be new, a few Baby Yoda Shirts have found a new home at The Emporium! Since Mando and Baby Yoda always seem to be on the run, you can rep your favorite Star Wars duo with the Wanted Baby Yoda Shirt for $24.99…
…and the Galactic Baby Yoda Shirt for $29.99!
While Disney World will be celebrating 2021 in a big way with its 50th anniversary, the parks have also been putting out themed merchandise for the new year. We’ve started to see the 2021 Pressed Pennies in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and The Emporium has a whole collection of them in the Magic Kingdom!
You can find designs like a classic Mickey and Minnie or Mickey and Pluto pairing, princesses like Snow White, or even pirate ships from the Pirates of the Caribbean with the 2021 logo…
…which you can snag for $1 each or all 8 designs at The Emporium for only $5!
Pressed pennies are a fun and affordable souvenir from your trip, especially for kids!
Star Traders
We’ve previously seen the Mickey & Co. collection pop up in Disneyland, but Disney World is adding a few of the retro items too over in Star Traders in Tomorrowland!
Guests can fashion the Mickey & Co. Rainbow Mickey Sweatshirt…
…or the Mickey & Co. Disney Logo Sweatshirt, each for $42.99!
Check out this collection in Disneyland here!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
The Rivers of America has been drained near Liberty Square since the beginning of November as Disney World conducts some routine construction and maintenance in the area. While we were in the Magic Kingdom, we noticed that there were plenty of trucks and people working on Rivers of America…
…which hopefully means that we’ll see the area filled again sometime soon (along with the return of the Liberty Square Riverboat)!
It’s so strange seeing cars and trucks driving where water should be, isn’t it?!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Magic Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more merchandise, construction, and food updates! And, if you’re wondering how your upcoming Disney vacation might look different, let us know so we can help you find the answers.
