Disney World Photopass photographers are some of our favorite Cast Members — after all, they capture many of our favorite moments at the parks!
Now if you want to snap a pic with a Photopass photographer you may want to keep an eye out for some new outfits!
Most Photopass Photographers are usually pretty easy to spot because, like other Cast Members, they have their own unique costume that involves blue slacks, a white shirt, and a beige vest.
Well today, we noticed a few PhotoPass photographers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios looked a little different. They were dressed in casual grey North Face pullovers and dark wash jeans! When we asked about it, we were told that Disney is testing out a new casual look for PhotoPass photographers.
Today, only about five PhotoPass photographers are modeling the new look at Hollywood Studios, and it’s uncertain if it will stick around. We’ve seen this previously with other Cast Member costumes — for example, Beaches and Cream Cast Members’ new outfits are now more casual than before. This is just a testing phase and you’ll still see most Photopass photographers in their normal gear. We’ll keep an eye on the situation and let you know what we find out!

Not a fan. I’m all for casual, but that’s too much.

The man wearing jeans and North Face is QA not Photopass. Also the thumbnail being used on Facebook is training day where we don’t wear vests 🤦♀️

Why? I don’t understand why, unless they are moving towards no uniforms at all? It must be a big expense…. maybe they want people to be able to wear their own clothes? What in the heck is happening to Disney… 🙁
