It’s here! The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has kicked off for 2021 at Walt Disney World!
And of course, we’re here for all of the Instagram-worthy food and entertainment from The Voices of Liberty, but what would the Festival of the Arts be without, well, ART?!
There are TONS of cool photo ops and, of course, there’s the Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt, but there’s a lesser-known scavenger hunt at EPCOT during this festival: Chalk Full of Character!
Yep, there are ADORABLE chalk drawings of fan-favorite Disney characters ALL over World Showcase! And while there’s no prize, per se, finding these darling drawings is a fun activity for the whole family! You know us, we LOVE a hidden gem, so we set out to find as many of the drawings as we could. Come along with us!
If you’re hoping to spot these on your own, you may wanna stop scrolling as we will reveal their locations.
Wait, who’s that on the outside of the Mexico Pavailion? It’s none other than spirit Dante from Coco!
Of course, Miguel’s trusty pup can be seen in his earthly form in Mexico too!
Let’s continue along World Showcase, shall we? In Norway, we spotted the Snowgies from Frozen! They appear to be getting into a bit of trouble, but it sure looks like fun!
In the Outpost (also known as the African Outpost or Refreshment Outpost), we found a clan of hungry hyenas fighting over a chili dog that they must have grabbed from the kitchen below!
In the China Pavilion, we found Little Brother from Mulan! He looks SO excited to get that bone! (Reminds us of ourselves before we try a new treat at EPCOT…)
In Germany, we spotted that rascal Pascal from Tangled getting into the spirit of the fest by adding some sunny artwork to the side of a building!
And what would the Festival of the Arts be without a little color changing, huh? Pascal blends in so much! Can you spot him?!
We found not one, not two, but THREE Pascals in Germany! And this one munching on some caramel corn from Karamell-Kuche may be our favorite one yet.
If you wish upon a star, you just may spot Jiminy Cricket in Italy!
Meanwhile, in the American Adventure, we spotted a much more obscure character…Amos from the Disney short Ben and Me! Honestly, we kind of love an underrepresented IP, and this little kite-flying mouse is perfect for this patriotic pavilion.
SPEAKING of obscure characters, Mickey Mouse’s teddy bear, Duffy, and his cat friend Gelatoni can be found in Japan! We love these cuties! In case you didn’t know, these guys are two of the mascots of Tokyo Disneysea!
Morocco sees a more familiar face to most folks — Aladdin’s sidekick Abu! He can be seen reaching for some treasure in a ceramic pot!
France has FOUR character sightings! You can find Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse from The Aristocats on the right side of the wall next to Les Halles and Les Vins des Chefs de France.
Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast is close by, adding some light to la situation!
Remy isn’t too far behind and framing the doorway to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie…
…and his pal Emile popped in for a macaron!
Continuing along World Showcase, you can spot Robin Hood, Little John, and Skippy behind some bushes!
And they’re not the only feather-capped characters here. Peter Pan’s shadow also makes an appearance, flying HIGH into some windows.
And we can’t let the Broom dog from Alice in Wonderland get swept under the rug in the UK Pavilion!
And we end our journey, as many journeys around World Showcase do, in Canada. Here, you can spot Koda from Brother Bear…
…back by the area the water from the pond starts!
Thanks for coming along with us while we completed the Chalk Full of Character! We think this is SUCH a hidden gem of an activity and the perfect way to explore the nooks and crannies of World Showcase you may not otherwise see!
And be sure to keep following along with us during the 2021 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! We’ll be filling you in on ALL the sights, bites, and surprises!
