Will you be getting your own taste of Florida winter next week?
If you’re headed to Disney World, you’ll certainly be contending with Orlando’s version of the “snowy season.” Whether you’re headed to ride Rise of the Resistance for the first time or to experience EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, we want to make sure you’re packed for the weather!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to be pretty consistent temperature-wise, and we might even get away with no rain! Last week was a nice one too, so can we keep up the streak? Take a look!
January 11th
Monday, January 11th will bring us a day that’s slightly on the warmer side of the week. The high lands right at 73 degrees and the low comes in at 58 degrees.
Humidity is high in the evening but that chance of rain is still relatively low. Expect partly cloudy skies during the day and a few more clouds at night!
January 12th
The next day, January 12th, will bring us another partly cloudy day. This is our warmest day of the week but the night is going to be a little bit cooler than the evening before.
It might be a little bit breezier than some other days so hold onto those hats! Or, maybe this is the day you finally buy that really bold Pandora Windbreaker? We don’t judge.
January 13th
On Wednesday, January 13th, we’re going to go a couple degrees colder with both the daytime and nighttime temps.
In a SHOCKING turn of events (just kidding) it is still partly cloudy midway through the week.
January 14th
For Thursday, January 14th, that high stabilizes in about the same place at 69 degrees.
The low stabilizes too, landing in the high-40s. You might be hot during the day to be cold late at night so layering will be key!
January 15th
The week continues with almost a TINY tic up in temperatures on January 15th.
Friday also brings our highest chance of rain for the whole week. You might see some showers so if there was ever a day to pack your poncho, it’s this one!
January 16th
Saturday, January 16th brings us our coolest day of the week with a drop of a few degrees.
Here, we’re looking at a 65-degree high and a 44-degree low. That’s brisk for Orlando!
January 17th
And we’ll wrap up our week on January 17th with those temperatures sitting at a comfy but cool 69-degree high and a brisk 50-degree low.
We’ve got some nice intervals of cloud and sunshine coming on Sunday!

How Should You Plan?
If you are headed to Disney World next week, we’ve got a few tips on how to plan for the weather!
It’s time to pack those layers!
Orlando is quite known for being toasty during the day and chilly at night. The way to contend with this is to make sure you’ve got layers, like a jacket or scarf, packed in your park bag (and luggage for that matter) at all times.
Make sure you’re ready whether you want to be wearing short sleeves or bundled up. You’ll be surprised how quickly those temperatures can change! Don’t have the right clothes for the weather? Head to a store and pick up a new souvenir that’ll keep you warm too!
Be prepared for anything!
We’ve got another week of a low-rain forecast, but that doesn’t mean you can get away with leaving that poncho in your hotel room — or worse, at home. This is Florida!!!
Florida means you never know WHEN rain can pop up out of nowhere. Keep an eye on the forecast for a sudden spike in the rain chance AND make sure you’re ready in case a downpour pops up out of nowhere!
