It’s another beautiful day in Disney World, and we’re visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
We’re checking out the food, the attractions, and the construction to see what’s new in Disney World’s OG park. We took lots of photos, so it’s almost as if you’re there with us — let’s go!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street Bakery
A few years ago in Disneyland, guests could order a Maleficent Frappuccino that was exclusive to the park’s Starbucks location. Recently, we got the chance to order the same drink off of the secret menu at the Main Street Bakery!
Pick your size, then order a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino with a scoop of dragon fruit, blueberry juice (or fresh blueberries), and whipped cream with matcha powder. Our drink’s total came out to $5.29, and it was stunning! To learn more about this beverage, make sure to check out our post!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island
In Liberty Square, Rivers of America are currently drained as the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island undergo a refurbishment. We caught a glimpse of some construction happening in the Harper’s Mill area.
The refurbishment in this area is currently slated to last through February 28th, so we’ll continue to look out for any changes.

Magic Kingdom Attraction Updates
Character Meets
Over at Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland, we spotted a socially distanced meet and greet with some non-princess characters — Cinderella’s stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella!
Interacting with these two is typically pretty hilarious, so naturally, we had to say hello! If you see them in this area, stop by. You might be surprised at how much you enjoy the interaction!

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
Alas, the PeopleMover is still closed! It was supposed to open this week, but the refurbishment on the beloved Tomorrowland attraction was extended until the end of the month.
It has been closed down for many months now, and we’re getting pretty antsy to ride it again. We had heard that the ride vehicles were being tested, but when we visited this area, they were stopped in their tracks. Hopefully, the refurbishment won’t be extended again and we’ll ride this one again soon!
