We seriously did a happy dance when the Pulled Pork Nachos became available again on Mobile Order at Capt. Cook’s in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Well, if you love the chips that these nachos are served on, but don’t necessarily need all the toppings, then have we got the snack for you. Capt. Cook’s is selling Poly Chips as a separate side item all on their own (and the Tiki Gods rejoiced)!Â
Capt. Cook’s Poly Chips feature house-made potato chips and wonton chips. These are the same chips that the nachos are served on.
You can also get Capt. Cook’s House-Made Chips as a side to your meal. But, if you just want the Poly Chips, you can now get them as their own item. They are served warm (yummmm) and are priced at $3.29.
These chips have some adoring fans out there, and we totally get why. They are particularly good if you’re looking for a snack that’s different than a regular, packaged item or some of the other snacks out there. So, if you love these chips, you can grab them as a separate snack and munch on them all throughout your trip.Â
You should be aware, however, that these chips don’t come with a side or dipping sauce. We personally like them on their own, but we could see that being a downside to those who absolutely need some kind of dip to go with their chips.
Pro tip: grab an order of these chips and then head to Tambu Lounge to enjoy them with a tropical cocktail and perhaps some small plates. Between the chips, drinks, and delicious appetizers — you’ll feel like you’ve truly entered your very own paradise! And you can top it all off with a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai. Perfection.
We’ll keep an eye out for more snacks and new food items all around Disney World. Be sure to check back with us for all the latest Disney news!

These house-made potato chips can also be found at other resorts and they ARE DELUXE to say the least.

Hi, I had a side of the wonton chips when I visited in Oct 2019, they seem to have a seasoning on them, any idea what it is? They were SO good!!!!!
