Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Liberty Square Market
As Liberty Square Market gets ready for a refurbishment, we’ll have to say goodbye to the quick-service location for a short time. The location is set to reopen in February! (See ya real soon, pal!)
Seating is still available right behind the quick-service spot so guests can sit down to snack on their favorite treats!
Right nearby, though, the Turkey Leg Cart is back in action across from the Diamond Horseshoe! When one door closes, another opens, we guess! 😀
Pecos Bill
Before you start your day, you can now head over to Pecos Bill’s for Powdered Sugar Donut Holes (and you know we can’t pass up donuts).
Joffrey’s Revive Tomorrowland
As Valentine’s Day nears, the Fairytale Latte has made its sweet appearance at kiosks all over Disney World!
If you’re craving all that chocolate and coconut goodness, the Joffrey’s Revive Tomorrowland location is also mixing up the drink next to Space Mountain.
You can read our full Fairytale Latte review here!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Main Street Confectionery
The Main Street Confectionery might be the place to get fresh cotton candy or Rice Krispie Treats, but it’s also home to the newest round of Disney aprons in the Magic Kingdom! Previously, we spotted these cuties over in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney, but they’ve flown over onto Disney World’s shelves now too.
You can feel like you’re on a tropical getaway or heading to your favorite EPCOT Festival with the Orange Bird Apron…
…indulge in a Mickey Bar or two while wearing the Mickey Ice Cream Bar Apron…
…party the whole night through with the “Fiesta Hoy” Three Caballeros Apron (at least Donald isn’t missing on this one)…
…and travel to the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room with a Dole Whip in one hand and the Enchanted Tiki Room Apron wrapped around you!
Each of the aprons can be found for $34.99 each, along with the other Disney houseware items also available in the Main Street Confectionery!
Take a look at all the details on the new Disney aprons here!
The Emporium
Speaking of kitchen items, the Emporium is “home” to two new towels that feature some of our favorite movies and attractions! As you bake up an apple pie (just not poisonous we hope), you can use the Snow White Kitchen Towel to assist you in your baking ventures…
…and you can use the Alice in Wonderland Towel to clean up any spilled tea or coffee as you sit down to enjoy your fresh eats and treats! Both towels are available in the Magic Kingdom for $19.99 each.
We’re ready to run over to the Emporium because there are brand new runDisney items racing onto the store’s shelves! During your next run in the colder weather, you can wear the runDisney Spirit Jersey…
…that features Mickey dashing for the finish line (or maybe the snack table) for $69.99.
And, you can keep your cold beverages cool and hot beverages warm inside the runDisney Tumbler as well for $34.99…
…that features the Fab Five running around around the parks…
…and an easy-to-use lid!
During our scope through the Emporium, we noticed there were a few lingering holiday items still in the store. But, Cast Members in both the Emporium and Ye Ole Christmas Shoppe confirmed that the 70% Christmas merchandise sale isn’t happening at the moment!
Uptown Jewelers
If you’re looking for something sweet to give a special someone for Valentine’s Day or another special occasion, Uptown Jewelers is showing off a few snazzy watches in the case that are new to us! You can look classic in a sparkly Mickey Watch for $65…
…jeweled Cinderella Castle Watch for $65…
…and there are even a few familiar watches still chilling out at Uptown Jewelers, so you have a variety of options to take home with you!
Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
As we hopped around Tomorrowland with our Fairytale Latte in hand, we stopped by Mickey’s Star Traders and found two new to us Sorcerer Mickey Magnets! Add a little galactic style to your refrigerator or other spots around your home with the colorful Sorcerer Mickey Star Magnet…
…and the Sorcerer Mickey Silhouette Magnet for $14.99 each!
Bonjour Gifts
It looks like we’re saying au revoir to Bonjour Gifts since the shop has closed again in the Magic Kingdom. We’re not sure when it will re-open at the moment, but we will be sure to keep you posted!
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Update
Main Street, U.S.A.
We’ve been missing the Roy and Minnie Statues recently each time we enter the Magic Kingdom. Even though the park is still as picture-perfect as ever, the statues haven’t returned to their regular spot just yet for photo-ops. But, we’ve got our fingers crossed they pop up again soon!
Christmas has FINALLY ended in the Magic Kingdom as decorations have disappeared and the park is back to their regular (albeit GORGEOUS atmosphere)!
Still, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so we’ll keep an eye out for all the heartfelt window displays and any other goodies that arrive in the parks soon!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Magic Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more updates. And, if you have any questions about how your Disney vacation might look different, let us know so we can help you find the answers!
