It’s been 10 loooong months, but a non-profit near Disney World is officially open again.
Following an extended closure, Give Kids The World Village has reopened its altruistic doors, and they are ready to share the magic with families who need it.
Located in Kissimmee, Florida (a stone’s throw from Disney), it’s a non-profit resort that works with The Make-A-Wish Foundation to provide cost-free Disney World vacations for children battling critical illnesses, along with their families.
Providing magic when it’s needed most!
Due to the global pandemic, Give Kids The World Village has been closed for the past 10 months. But good news! They’re welcoming families back again!
According to Click Orlando, Pamela Landwirth, the President and CEO, said “I can’t even begin to describe the feelings of being able to say ‘welcome home’ to our precious families again this afternoon.”
That time EPCOT raised a BUNCH of Money for Give Kids The World Village!
While the resort was closed, we were able to stop by over the holidays to marvel at their “Night of a Million Lights” Christmas event, which made us so hopeful for a reopening soon. And now that day is finally here!
On Instagram, Give Kids The World Village posted about their first big wish of 2021, for a family flying to Florida from Cleveland.
