We were told that, as of right now, the Trading Post might be moving “someplace bigger” but there’s not been an official announcement.
Downtown Disney Merchandise Update
Annual Passholder Magnet with Purchase
Monday, January 18th, marked the beginning of another Annual Passholder promotion. Now through February 25th, Annual Passholders can get 30% off their purchases Mondays through Thursdays! And, BONUS, they were giving away FREE Annual Passholder magnets with any purchase when we visited!
The magnet celebrates 65 years of magic at the Disneyland Resort and served as a little something extra when we were shopping. We picked ours up at Kingswell Camera Shop and we’re thinking these might be available at other locations throughout Downtown Disney as well! We’re not sure how long these magnets will be available so make your way to Downtown Disney if you’d like to snag one!

Downtown Disney Crowd Update
Disneyland has remained closed and is currently serving as Orange County, California’s first mass vaccination site. That hasn’t stopped crowds from heading to Downtown Disney to shop, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere on the holiday weekend.
Downtown Disney was busier for a weekday when we visited. Most stores had a standby queue ranging from a 30-40 minute wait. This likely due to the holiday weekend and this week marks the beginning of the Annual Passholder discount.
And there you have it! TONS of new merch, a busy day, and some awesome Annual Passholder goodies! Isn’t Downtown Disney a delight?!
