Hall of Presidents
From Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure getting closer to opening at EPCOT to continuing updates from Disney on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (aka the Star Wars hotel), a lot is already going on at the beginning of the New Year!
We previously reported that Magic Kingdom’s Hall of Presidents had gone down for refurbishment. The Hall of Presidents is a historic attraction at the park that features every U.S. President as an audio-animatronic. So tradition dictates that the attraction closes each time a new President is inaugurated to install a figure.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, Disney has confirmed that the Hall of Presidents will be updated with a figure of the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden. The attraction features a speech from George Washington, as well as a speech from the current sitting President.

We do not yet know how long the refurbishment and addition will take, but we’ll let you know when we have more details.

Could you please let me know how close to the airport are Hotels? Now that the Big Blue bus will not be transporting from airport to Disney resorts I will be planning my next trip back later this Fall. I am not going to pay to take a taxi or uuber to get to a resort so I will stay close to the airport. I am 75 yrs old and NO way am I renting a car and driving in Fla. Crazy traffic. I also would like to know if you are also doing away with the Disney bus’s at the resorts. I need answers to both questions because it will all depend on if I come back to Disney or vacation somewhere else. Thank You.

Hi, Ruth. Disney will still be operating buses from their Resorts to the Parks and Disney Springs. Disney’s Magical Express will still be running in the fall when you’ve indicated that you plan to visit. Magical Express will be discontinued in 2022.
Does anyone know the REAL REASON Disney is ending the Magical Express and is there a slight chance that Disney will reconsider this decision. Is there someone Disney Fans can write to, complain to or just BEG to not discontinue the Magical Express!

Hello Ruth, You might consider looking into town car service. We used to rent a car only to have it sit in the parking lot and charged. When we take our nieces and nephews we have the service display their name on the placard. They forget the long flight from Seattle when they see THEIR name. The driver will meet you and take care of the luggage. Our drivers have also offered to stop at a place to pick up the things they won’t allow through TSA. The fee usually based on round trip and the services we’ve used in the past picked us up 2hrs before our return flight back home.
Hi, Roz. I was curious about the timing you mentioned. As it turns out, Hall of Presidents closed two days earlier to add President Trump in January 2017. The attraction reopened in mid-December of the same year. I hope this helps clear things up!
