If you’re headed to Disney World in the next few weeks, your park options just totally opened up!
Last year, Disney implemented the Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system. Since then, guests have to make a reservation at one of the theme parks in addition to park admission to be admitted. Though January has seen mostly wide-open availability, Annual Passholder reservations had filled up in some circumstances.
As of today, Disney has replenished Disney Park Passes for the remainder of January. Now, the month is wide open in all four parks for Theme Park Ticket Holders, Resort Guests, and Annual Passholders.
Theme Park Ticket Holders and Disney Resort Guests have primarily maintained full availability during this slower time of this year.
But we have seen a few weekends fill up for Annual Passholders when it comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now, though, you can see that the rest of the month has FULL AVAILABILITY for Annual Passholders too!

I understand we are in a different time with Covid and thus WDW does not want to sell APs. (Or at least that is what I am guessing the issue is.) I am wondering for those of us that fly to WDW if there would be a ticket equal to the price of an annual pass that could be sold for a number of days for the year. Example: We fly from DTW (Detroit) to WDW for approximately 35 days a year because we have DVC. To buy three 10 day passes is crazy and even then we can’t go to the parks all the days. We can’t afford. Could WDW offer a multi-day use ticket for DVC that is limited to 30 or 35 days at parks? AP would be different as they are unlimited but this would allow us to use our DVC without buying multiple passes each year. We had three trips scheduled for this year. We cancelled number one this month because we can’t get an annual pass. I personally would not even care if the holidays were blacked out as we could travel around the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter days when the parks are so crowded. Or even be at WDW and not go to the parks on the three or four major holiday actual days. All written here is personal opinion and others may not agree. We just need a pass so we can enjoy the other days we have planned to be at WDW without breaking the bank. Others may be in this same situation that do not live in FL.
