Hello campers! Today, we’re visiting Disney’s Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge!
We checkout out everything new at these two Disney World resorts to give you all of the latest updates. Without further ado, let’s see what’s new!
Fort Wilderness Food Update
P & J’s Southern Takeout
Over at P & J’s Southern Takeout, we found a new cupcake! The Specialty Cupcake is made with a Vanilla Cupcake, Raspberry Filling, and Strawberry Buttercream.
We thought this cupcake was alright. We loved the raspberry filling, but the buttercream was not great. It was WAY too sweet, and tasted very artificially strawberry.
If you are a big frosting fan, you may want to skip this one! You can currently grab this cupcake for $4.99.

The Chuck Wagon
A small food truck called the Chuck Wagon is open Friday through Sunday for weekend folks. The hours are 5PM to 9PM.
We didn’t notice anything new, but we did notice some snacks that were taken off of the menu. We’ll be sure to check back to see if those reappear!

Fort Wilderness Merchandise Updates
Meadow Trading Post
We didn’t spot anything new in the Meadow Trading Post, however we spotted some oddly placed merchandise! We found the United Kingdom Tumbler here.
Not sure what the wilderness and the United Kingdom have in common, but hey, it’s another place to grab this cute cup! This cup is $24.99.
We also spotted the S’more Please T-shirt! Featuring the mischievous duo Chip & Dale, this shirt celebrates the iconic campfire dessert.
This cute t-shirt is $19.99.

Settlement Trading Post
At Settlement Trading Post, we didn’t spot any new merchandise, but we did notice the firewood for sale.
It’s $11.99 per bundle.
Wilderness Lodge Merchandise Updates
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile
First up at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile, we found this new Wilderness Lodge Long-Sleeve Shirt!Â
This off-white shirt is simple but honors this awesome resort for $39.99.
We happened to find the Castle Candy Dish here! This little dish featuring Cinderella Castle is $19.99.
We also spotted the Nightmare Before Christmas Tumbler. The spooky Jack Skellington is all over this thing with Zero…
…and a pumpkin! He is the Pumpkin King, after all. This tumbler is $22.99.
We found some new merch that is too relatable! The Grumpy Bear Kitchen Towel depicts exactly how we feel doing the dishes.
If you want something a little less comedic, there’s the Moose Kitchen Towel. Both towels are $12.99 each.
To match the towel, you can pick up the Moose Mug! It’s got the same adorable red and black print for $14.99.
If you’re not much of a mug person maybe you’ll like the Moose Travel Bottle!Â
Perfect on the go, this insulated bottle is $27.99.

Justme says
Is this an old update? Wilderness Lodge is closed until June 2021!
DFB Sarah says
Justme, this update was from 1/23/2021. Wilderness Lodge’s DVC villas are open, so the resort common areas/shops/some dining locations are open.
Drifter2k says
Please don’t bring firewood from out of state. I know $11.99 is expensive but the critters that can travel with your wood can be disruptive to the local environment. If you still don’t want to pay $11.99 a bundle, check the area as you drive in and pick up some firewood locally before you arrive.
DFB Sarah says
Drifter2K, you’re correct. I’ve flagged this for the editorial staff.
