Like a lot of restaurants in Disney World, when Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera first reopened at Disney’s Riviera Resort last year, it came with a seriously trimmed down menu.
The changes were most evident at breakfast, which was suddenly pastry-less, and missing two of its meaty menu stars! Well, hope you’re hungry, because the restaurant has brought back its sausage and steak!
Topolino’s Terrace is one of the only character dining experiences in Disney World right now. Since the restaurant first reopened in June, what it lacked in meaty breakfast entrees, it made up for in Disney characters!
But now that several months have gone by, Disney is ready to beef things back up by bringing back a couple of its heartiest menu items!
The Spiced Sausage Hash is BACK in all its glory with Poached Egg, English Muffin, Potatoes, Pearl Onions, Choron Sauce, and Fines Herbes!
If steak is more your jam, welcome the Wood-fired Butchers Steak back into your life! It’s served with Polenta, Pomodoraccio Tomatoes, Roasted Onions, Wild Mushroom Conserva, and Watercress.
As usual, both entrees are $42, which seems steep, especially for breakfast, but when you factor in that it’s a character dining experience, it softens the blow of the price tag. Mickey and Minnie are worth it, right?!
As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on ALL things breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert in the parks and Disney resorts! In the meantime, treat yourself to some breakfast steak!
Here’s how character dining is DIFFERENT in Disney World!

Totally overpriced for a breakfast. Not a fan, and feel bad for saying anything negative about Disney! Just not worth the price.

Had a breakfast steak here in December 2019. Not sure if it is the same being reintroduced here but it was melt in your mouth delicious. Most things inside the Disney bubble are more expensive than outside of the bubble. We have to plan carefully and only eat out once a day.

I agree with Patty. 42.00 for a bagel with salmon and cream cheese? I just can’t justify it. I wish I could.

This was my FAVORITE experience when I went to WDW in September 2020. FUN atmosphere and the breakfast was delicious and more than enough. I still can’t get that catchy song out of my head!!!

Can you tell me why you didn’t post my comment? Or how long before you do?

My husband and I wouldn’t pay $42 each for a breakfast just anywhere, but this was a Disney character breakfast, so we accepted the cost and came away quite pleased with our decision. Our food was wonderful and the character interaction, even at a distance, was magical. We also did the character breakfast at Chef Mickey’s and loved that one too! (And note that this is the opinion of two adults without kids. You’re never too old to enjoy a character meal if you want.)

This was our favorite Disney meal reservation when we went to Disney March 2020 prior to the COVID closure. My husband and I ordered the steak with cheesy polenta and a side of eggs. Our kids both got the Mickey waffle dippers. The shareable pastries were so yummy, we could not drink enough POG juice and the mimosas were strong and refreshing. I would eat there over and over again. And that was just the food.. Our waiter was out of this world amazing. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about the food. He was the one that recommended getting something else on the side with out meal. The character experience was the best one of the week. We had also seen Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey’s and that was a rushed and not good experience. If you want your bang for your buck, eat here. Choose something off the menu to get your moneys worth. Who in their right mind would pay $42 for a bagel when you can have melt in your mouth tender steak for breakfast?!
