The Disney Skyliner is one of the most fun transportation options at Disney World.
What’s more fun traveling to and from the parks in a gondola that flies across the world to the Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Pop Century Resort, and the Art of Animation Resort? Plus, the views are incredible!
We recently reported that the part of the Skyliner Resort that takes guests to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort would be down as of today, January 24th. Today, we have confirmation of more days the Skyliner will be down and where. Thanks to our reader, Instagram user @brittanyracca for the following photo of a sign with details:
Today, the Skyliner that goes to Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Art of Animation Resorts is closed. On Tuesday, January 26th, the Skyliner that goes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closed. And on Thursday, January 28th, the Skyliner that goes to EPCOT’s International Gateway will be closed.
Other transportation options to and from these locations are still available, including Disney Bus Transportation and Disney’s Friendship Boats. We saw the following sign today indicating the closure of the line to Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on the situation and let you know if anything changes. Stay tuned for updates!

Kathy Banks says
Are these skyliner closures just for one day each?
Raelynn says
On the screenshot of the transportation update it says as a resort guest complimentary parking at the theme park.. has that changed? I thought it cost 25.00 to park at the theme parks? Is this a new update?
DFB Sarah says
Raelynn, hi! Resort hotel guests can park for free at the theme parks, but they do pay to park at their resorts.
