We recently celebrated Disney’s leading lady with all things that are Minnie Mouse, and there’s another celebration coming up. International Women’s Day takes place on March 8th!
In the past, Disney has been known to celebrate this day with special snacks and events in the parks! And this year, Disney is celebrating in another exciting way!
Disney on Broadway recently announced the 4th annual “Women’s Day on Broadway,” which will be held virtually this year! This year’s celebration is particularly poignant as it marks exactly one year since Broadway shut down due to the global health crisis.
This year’s event is called “Reflecting Courageously, Transforming Collectively” and is focused on gender equality within the theatre industry and beyond. The two-hour virtual event will bring in featured speakers to “immerse participants in a series of conversations and inspire each attendee to drive change, make an impact, and discuss how to keep moving forward amid this unprecedented and challenging time.”
The event will take place on March 12th at 1PM EST. For more information on how to register, visit WomenofBroadway.com. And we’ll let you know about any other upcoming Disney events, too!
