We spent a beautiful day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (and it’s such a beautiful park, right?) to see what’s new. So here are all the latest updates!

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

We all scream for ice cream, especially when it’s strawberry soft-serve blended with chocolate with sprinkles in a waffle cone. We took the special Valentine’s Day cone offered by the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck and got it swirled with chocolate to make our own yummy Valentine treat!

The chocolate and strawberry worked so well together. Now, this isn’t advertised as something that can be swirled, so you have to ask for it. And it depends on what’s available that day: sometimes the swirl option is chocolate, sometimes it’s vanilla. The cone is $4.99.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Riverside Depot

We found some clear mugs that are fit for a Disney princess (or Evil Queen). The mugs have an icon on one side, with a cute quote on the back. Here’s the Aladdin Mug.

The back includes what most of us wish for: “Wishing for the weekend.” The mug handles have little pieces of confetti shaped like lamps inside it!

We also found an Aurora tiara mug, a Poison Apple Mug, and a Cinderella Castle Mug. Each mug is $14.99.

You want more MagicBands, because we found MORE MagicBands, including a Recess: Schools Out MagicBand!

There was also a new Kingdom of Cute MagicBand that features a kitchen sink sundae AND Mr. Toad on it!

And for fans of Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, there’s a MagicBand for you, too!

These limited release MagicBands are now available for $29.99 each.

The “it’s a small world” Wishables have arrived at Disney World! And we found them at Riverside Depot! It really is a small world after all!

There were also PUPPETS! These Plush Puppets feature Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, and Angel!

Discovery Trading Company

We spotted some new bags at Discovery Trading Company. This charming bag, which is $39.99, has Mickey and Minnie on it, along with a newspaper print.

There’s also a matching wallet for $29.99.

Then there’s this Minnie Mouse Bows and Dots Crossbody Wallet for $29.99.

This larger bag has the same print. It’s $39.99.

Dinosaur

It didn’t look lie we were going to go get that dino because Dinosaur was down most of the morning.

Guess we’ll have to go get him later.

Maharajah Jungle Trek

There are new baby water buffaloes on the Maharajah Jungle Trek! AWWWW!!!

This is the first time the babies have been out on the savannah.

Kali River Rapids

Kali River Rapids is still under refurbishment.

We’re keeping an eye on it, though, and we’ll keep you updated on its progress!
