Disney’s Contemporary Resort Entertainment Update
Contempo Cafe
The Monorails are easily one of our favorite ways to get around the Disney World parks and resorts in style. And, the latest update to the Cast Member costumes at the Contempo Cafe has us wanting to snag the Monorail-themed apron for ourselves!
The neon green collared shirt adds a pop of color to the outfit…
…as the white apron is decorated with the red, orange, lime, coral, and other Monorails!
Hey, Disney, any chance you’re going to feature these in your stores anytime soon? (We’ll be your first customers!) 😉

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Food Update
Pineapple Lanai
We are life-long fans of the Dole Whip and we can’t help but be excited when there is a new flavor or brand new way to snack on the dessert! And, Pineapple Lanai is showing off a souvenir tiki sipper to go with your Dole Whip Float!
The plastic sipper has stacked tiki men and other carvings around the cup with the lid open to eat your sweet Dole Whip soft serve and a straw to sip on the pineapple juice for $10.99.
And, you can take the sipper home with you so you can make your own DIY Dole Whip at home to feel like you’re in the parks all the time!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update
Pool Areas
If you’re bringing your kiddos with you to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you’ll want to note that the kids’ pool area is closed at the moment to undergo a refurbishment!
Since much of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is experiencing construction, you may want to plan your resort stay accordingly as you chill out for a pool day or explore the parks!
Right next to the pool, the Barefoot Pool Bar was also closed to guests visiting the area.
The sign on the front of the shuttered window advised guests to head to the Tambu Lounge inside the resort instead for a refreshing beverage!
See what the Polynesian looked like during a water leak!
Monorail
As Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort continues to move forward with its huge refurbishment, the Monorail leading from the resort to the parks is still under construction.
The Monorail station was recently demolished in the midst of the updated entryway and transportation methods available to guests visiting the Polynesian.
Tarps and gates were up around the construction as a health and safety measure with signs directing visitors to the Great Ceremonial House.
We’ll keep an eye on this construction!
